Lake Shasta Dinner Cruises FAQs

The cost per adult is $89.95 plus tax. Children from 3 – 12 years are $52.95 plus tax. From 13 years, they are considered adults. We also have special themed cruises, where the price can vary.

Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. We accept reservations from Sunday through Thursday. Seating is limited on each cruise, and we wouldn’t want you to show up on the day of the cruise and find it booked up.

Cruises depart Friday and Saturday evenings from May through September, weather depending. Call us about group dinner cruises or boat rentals on other days. Depending on the weather, the Lake Shasta Dinner Cruises season may lengthen or shorten.

The boat leaves at 6:00 pm and returns by 8:00 pm, one cruise per evening.

On summer holiday weekends, cruises can depart up to an hour later. Please call for details.

Check-in time is between as early as 30 minutes up to one hour prior to departure time. Check-in is at the Gift Store of Lake Shasta Caverns, located at 20359 Shasta Caverns Road, Lakehead, CA 96051. There is no need to arrive more than 30 minutes before the cruise.

We recommend to make it as soon as you have a certain Friday or Saturday in mind as there is limited seating.

It is not included, we leave it up to you if you appreciate the effort of the service and crew.

Your cruise boat, the “Cavern Queen”, is equipped with a restroom for your convenience.

We don’t offer alcoholic beverages during the cruise, but non-alcoholic beverages are included. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own to enjoy with your meal. There is no corking fee, and wine glasses are part of the table setting. Champagne glasses are available upon request.

Yes, on the way to the boat departure location. The boat and restroom have limited wheelchair accessibility. Depending on lake levels, the exposed dirt road may have uneven and/or unstable pathways. We will do our best to assist those in need of accessibility to the boat.

Yes, we offer rides to and from the boat departure location for those who need assistance, but we would like advance notice if it is required.

The relaxed atmosphere of Shasta Lake provides a casual setting for a cruise, in which suits and high heels are not needed. We recommend casual attire, according to the weather, and comfortable walking shoes.

Yes, you will receive a discount on the caverns tour if you have a reservation for the dinner cruise. You have the option of taking the caverns tour on the day of the cruise or another day of your choosing. Be sure to let us know you would also like to take the caverns tour when you make your reservation.
